Kathmandu. The song ‘Gokyo Ri’ sung at a beautiful tourist spot in the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, has set a world record.
The song, which was recorded near Gokyo Lake in Solukhumbu, set a world record. The Guinness Book of World Records lists the song recorded at an altitude of 4,813 meters and the music video filmed as the world’s highest recorded song and music video.
The song ‘Gokyi Re’ has been composed by Laxman Karki, a tourism entrepreneur, Sanch Bahadur Rai, a tourism entrepreneur, Pushkar Nepal, a media coordinator and cinematographer Rajan Kharel and a flute player Paul Rai.
The music video stars Babina Kirati, Anish Sinjali Magar and Royal Rai. The song sung by Babina Rai is written by Milan Kirati. The music video is directed by Durlabh Jantare (Buddhiraj Rai).
